Much as we would like to live on film, we did have to eat, so off we went to the local diner.
John B's wild and crazy friend Tony drove some of us in his BMW convertible. I seem very worried....

 -

Good food and good conversation. Just what you need after a long day of film browsing:

 -

Back to the show.
With me being from DC, the closest 'neighbor' there was Geoffrey C from Maryland.
Here he is showing us his nice 16mm basement setup:

 -

Of course, he also had time to shop:

 -

My hotel countertop on the night before I left. It was so neat when I arrived...

 -

Someone asked on the forum about bringing the family.
The boardwalk has plenty of fun, including Morey's Piers amusement park.
That way the wife and kids can enjoy the sun while the husband is with "those people"... [Roll Eyes]

 -

After having attended, all I can say in closing is: come.

Come to the next show.
Do whatever it takes, because you will love it.
The stories, the jokes, the films you suddenly can't live without....all there. Right by the sea.
John has made it for us; all we have to do is show up.

 -

Claus.

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make either of these two great shows. The timing has been off for me.

The location is great. My wife and I go there sometimes, since its only three hours or so from my home.

Hope I can make the next one!

By the way, great pictures Clause. Hopefully you will have more "neighbors" with you next time, since I live 5 minutes from D.C., and I think Gary Crawford is close too.

James.

James,

Yes, I'd love to see you and Gary there too; I know both of you are 'local' here [Smile]
