I got this title only 1 * 800. I guess this was originally released as 4 reeler. So I need reel 3 & 4 to complete my film.

Or anybody knows that title once released as a digest, perhaps I can use it as filler for the closinng.

cheers,

Hi Winbert, there are two feature versions of "Mighty Joe Young",
one was put out by Nostalgia Merchant I think,I have that copy
but can find no markings or Logo's,and is complete, the other
I had which was the mountain 4x400'.Mountain also did a 400'
version.

Hi Hugh thanks.

I have just checked mine, it has "British Film Certificate" in the beginning, so I guess this is from Mountain, right? So it needs reel 3 and 4, right?

Since there is a digest of this very title offered on Ebay UK now, before I decide to buy, do you happen to know if Mountain digest:

Covering the whole story from start to the end with equal edit.

or

Covering whole story with heavy on the closing (or beginning)

or

(Like some Derann's) covering half of the story because the other half is (or was planned) in other digest pack.

thanks

As far as I know Winbert,Mountain in the main just released whole
chunks from movies, which saved on editors fees etc.I have not
seen the 400' edition, but would hazard a guess that it is the
night club scene with possibly the orphanage fire at the end
tacked on.I would think someone on the forum might have this
version and give more solid advice.
