Watched this again after about 10 years of not having run it. I'm sure we've all seen the short so I won't go on about the story. The print is one of the sharpest I've seen in the Columbia 8mm Stooges canon. The sound is also very crisp with plenty of treble. The nice thing that the vendor (Triangle), who printed the Columbia library on 8mm, provided was lots of leader before the opening Columbia logo and titles. I would have preferred Columbia had chosen to print "The Ghost Walks" which is what the bulk of the footage was culled from, but this has always been one of my favorite shorts, nonetheless. I've always wondered why Columbia always chose the 'Dead Shemp' titles ("Hot Stuff", "Creeps", etc.) rather than the original shorts from the late '40s that were always so much better. Nonetheless, I definitely recommend "Creeps" from a quality standpoint. [ January 02, 2014, 07:58 PM: Message edited by: Brad Kimball ]
