As I sit here late at night a thought occurred to me.
What kind of projectors did the Airlines use to project Super 8? Does anyone know?

I believe these prints were in giant cassettes. I am not familiar with this process. A friend tells me of a flight he was on and they had a lot of trouble showing the film, it kept shutting down. This is all I know. They probably chose cassettes for no rewind, as a continous loop device.

Yes they were in large Cassettes on a continuous loop system I think. The machines were I believe made under the Technicolor trade mark. They were Optical Sound and normally on very thin Polyester stock. That's the only info I have managed to get about them. Would like to see a pic of one of these machines if anyone has got one they could photograph.

Kevin.
