Correct Mr Millman. You were quite obviously taking it all in at our mine cine fest. [Wink] The torque is adjusted on the feed arm but only in reverse projection. Elmo found that the differance between a 50 ft and 1200ft spool was too great.
Keep the numbers coming guy's.
I have just registered a Domain name and started my own web site. It only has a static page at the moment but as the weeks go on I will try and put info about maintaining elmos etc up for you guys to read. [Smile]

Thanks Ronnie, Lets hope I can get the hang of all this HTML stuff. I may be into IT as a job but this web stuff is beyond me at the moment. My 15yr old son seems to know more about it than me but on the other hand where does he come when he wants his Noris 512 checked over. Between us I'm sure we will get it off the ground. [Smile] Kev.

Haven't seen the third one to get the number yet and I'll probably forget when I'm down there next week.

Warren,
I'd like to welcome you to the forum. That's quite an impressive family of projectors you've got there.

My first GS number is 825233 and the date on the motor is 7.12.1978. So, it is quite old but still working great [Smile]
(There is no second GS yet, I am looking a newer one all the time.)
