Just four more new members to go to reach the 200 landmark! As I recall, this forum turned the 100 member mark last December. This means a doubling of members in just 6 months, demonstrating a growing worldwide interest in super 8 film collecting.
Congratulations to Brad for running the best and most successful film collectors forum on the web!

Maybe we should have a prize for member #200. Ian could give away one of those rare Dynamo Doc titles or even that treasured optical print of Billy Crystal's "Memories Of Me".

I don't want to be negative, but I think a lot of these so called "members"...only signed on to try to sell something or get some piece of info, e.g."what do you think this film is worth?", and won't be heard from again...BUT! I certainly hope that's not the case.

That is negative thinking Joe, but unfortunately you may have a point. There is a lot more collectors out there though that will not or cannot use the internet, and that is a shame, saying all that we have a great forum here thanks to Brad and a great bunch of personalities and expertise.

Chris.

Wow!

To me the passion for Super-8 film and the use of internet are indivisible! Until I got on the internet I had absolutely no idea if it even still existed, or that there were still other people out there who thought that the little gauge was really special.

Then I started buying cameras, projectors and films on E-bay, then I found out about Derann and CHC.

If it wasn't for the Internet, all I'd be doing these days is spooling up one of my old films on my silent projector every few months and feeling a twinge of nostalgia for what fun I used to have. As things turned out, these days are better than "the good old days"

Well we've hit the 200 member mark. Congratulations to Brad. The question now is "Who is member number 200?".
