I only have the "Dracula - Prince Of Darkness" cutdown in scope yet I don't have a scope lens so I have to watch it squeezed. "Lonesome Ghosts" which I just adore and the cut down of "Taste The Blood Of Dracula" which is just terrific. If Derann re-released shorts (ie:Stooges or L&H) and the U-8 cutdowns of the classic titles - I'd be all in. I'd love to have them all on better quality stock.

Meager, eh?

Gosh, I'd have to really go through my collection, but I don't think that it's beyond maybe 15 prints, shorts and features combined.

How is the Keith Bro these days?

Fine Bro. Basking in the snow, ice and sun. Treating other 40 plus unlisted, non- Derann titles, to a run thru on the old rewind arms, just to keep warm.

Are Derann prints the best around, then?

Just curious as I don't collect Super 8.

Hi Michael,
I think the Deranns are one of the best what you can get on Super 8. Together with the prints from the German Lab. But I saw some newer Derann prints (with the black sound track) which were not as good as the older ones. Not in the way of sharpness, brightness and contrast, they are great as ever, but the picture vibrates a little bit.

Regards,
Michael
