Thought this might possibly be of interest for anyone looking to make a D.I.Y. wall screen.
Jessop's have "studio background" material which lookes to me like a giant sized roll of white wall paper, 2.75 meter width by 11 meter length was the largest at £48.

That's what we used at the BFCC to build the 34 foot screen in the early 90's. 'Arctic White' was the colour if I remember correctly.
