Well I got my copy today, it takes longer to get here [Wink] and I must say looks great, plenty of interesting articles, one such topic was the making of a two bladed shutter for the ST1200, thanks Tom for a most interesting read, the engineering work was really something. I am only guessing but to cut out the slots with such accuracy I wonder if they used a computerized milling machine.

When I made a two bladed for the GS1200 I did try running home movies at 18fps as an experiment, although I initally thought this might be OK, it was until a light scene say a bright sky hit the screen, then flicker became more evident, I came to the conclusion that two bladed shutters are fine for 24fps but not home movies and thats where another projector comes in handy.

Well its a beautiful summers evening, clear blue skies, and will continue reading the rest of FFTC outside on our swing. [Wink]

Regards Graham. [Smile]
