I'm sure this is well covered in existing threads but I can't find them. What are these parts called that have dried up and fallen apart on the 2 dual 8 projectors I would like to get running? I'm talking about the little light yellowish brown rollers, about 1/4 inch in diameter, that fit over the rewind and supply wheels, and engage to make them turn)
Are these the "rubber tires' the belt seller on ebay is advertising for $12 a pop? Can I improvise a fix without the exact part, or are they avaialable anywhere?
It's on the right hand side of the blurry picture.
I need two for the GAF 2588Z dual 8 and two for a Montgomery Ward 810 duo 8. I know these aren't the best projectors in the world but I don't do much with standard 8 and these are the 2 I have. I'll need to replace the drive belt on the GAF as well. That i can find, though the price of $24 I've seen is probably more than the machine is worth.
