I lost the website for Buckingham films. Does anyone have it?

Naw Paul, they occasionally have a good optical super 8mm print.

I have but one 9.5mm print, A Mickey Mouse cartoon involving a haunted house.

I was always fascinated by the fact that the sprocket was in the middle, instead of the outside.

Was that a primarily European film format?

Yes, 9.5mm was invented by Charles Pathe in France. It was extremely popular in England from 1920 to 1960. Its main advantage is that it gives you an almost 16mm size picture frame using cameras and projectors no bigger than 8mm ones. 9.5mm film prints and home movies are usually of superb quality.
