I want to try a mod on my S810 film guide/pressure pad, has anyone any old or unwanted guides that they wish to sell, either for S810 or S710. I do not want to try with the one on my projector in case my idea does not work.The problem is that I have a number of early cine from a friend that I am transfering to DVD, but some of it is damaged on the sprocket holes and are raised up slightly and is causing it to go in and out of focus when it goes through the gate, now if the area where the perforatins run was relieved so that the film would lay flat on the guide regardles of any damage it may solve the problem.Its only an idea, unless anyone has any other ideas.
