does the st1200 use the same belts as st1200d?

Hi David. Most ST1200D's have the same three belts as the ST1200 HD's ie two drive belts and a take-up belt, all of a square crossection. However, I have also known a few models with the two original belts of the ST1200 ie a tractor ridged type take-up belt and one drive belt.
I have one or two spare square crossection take-up belts if you're stuck, for the ST1200HD style, but none for the ST1200 earlier model. Hope that helps. Robin
