The last time I was in Prague I bought me a batch of Foma, but you can get that from Wittner in Germany. That's a sweet stock. I've used Frank in the netherlands for processing. (www.super8reversal.nl?)

Here in L.A. we can get all the 8mm and DS8 Fomapan at Freestyle for about $10. With our horrible dollar it's probably a deal for overseas buyers (the same ones who are scooping up all of our EBAY goodies these days!):

Seems that there is a plethora of Std 8 supplies out there! Excellent!!
Barry, I think I'll try Roy Salmons for my next batch - sounds good. How do his prices compare with other UK outlets? Must be better than Widescreen!!!!

It all started when I received an old Standard 8 clockwork camera from a friend at work. This started me off wanting to have a go; it was about 8 years ago that I tried Standard 8; for the past 15 years or so I've only ever done Super 8 filming. However, think I'll get some in-date film, and give the camera a go; the exposure seems to be okay as it adjusts with different levels of light falling on the sensor...could still be out though!!

In my opinion ANYWHERE is better than the Widescreen Centre. The last batch I got from Roy was£23 per double run roll including processing charges and return postage.Non processing worked out at £17 per roll.No it aint cheap but even he gets it from America so doing it yourself would work out about the same I reckon.Roy does not have two shops and a bunch of hangers on that need paying London ages.

I think it might be worth mentioning that Jim Peters (USA) does Standard 8 Cinechrome for less than $40 for a pack of 2.
THAT'S LESS THAN £10.00 PER ROLL!!
By the time you add shipping and processing, (I usually use John Schwind for the processing at $10 per roll - £5.00) I reckon you're still quids in by using this route, as shipping these little spools of film is only pence!!
I did get a reply from Roy, whose price is £26 per roll incl. processing. Not bad, but still quite a bit dearer than using our friends across the pond.
As for Roy's 64T at £21 incl. processing, you still can't beat 7 DayShop at £7.99 per cartridge plus processing.
That's the way I play it, anyway.
