I need advice on setting the light meter control. Can anyone help? Basically, should both the black discs move? Or should the ASA one be stationary?

Speaking generally, after all these years, you should not trust the old Bolex light meters if it still works. Use an external one. Btw, does the P1 even have high enough iso values for todays films? I think the older Bolex's dont.
