I'm in the process of transferring our home movies to digital.
Already I have converted 2 bell & Howell projectors (8 and super 8) to perform this.
I'm using a machine vision camera with 1/2 ccd.
Working distance (from gate to lens front) will be between 100 and 125mm.
Normal 8 frame size is 3.3mm x 4.5mm I believe.

What lens (focal lenght) and or extension tubes do I need for this in order to capture the full frame on the entire ccd?

I've been looking for the past week with I net searches and am now thouroughly confused....

Any help / advise would be appreciated.

Regards, Bart

If you can tell me the actual physical size of the camera sensor's active area I can work it out for you.
