In general pulse sync means a projector is slaved and had to run a single frame every time itr eceives an impulse from some feed source, for example a sound tape with a track recorded as a sync reference; this will keep the sound content of the tape with the images projected by the projector, because the sync pulses were generated by a camera during shooting and recorded on the tape. There are variuos methods to achieve this which I am not very familiar with. But I am not sure T 502 has such a feature...

A small board can be added to the 502 to make it compatible with a quartz synchronizer. But it will cost your around 500 euros.
