Hi I have an Elmo GS800 which has low sound output. Amplifier/pots don't seem particularly noisy . Any suggestions?

Hi Joe,have you tried adjusting the sound head,by loosening the
two screws below the head and gently moving it while a film
is running. It might do the trick.

Thanks for that. Someone else told me to work all the sound related switches as apparently a machine that has been unused for some time can develop dirty/sticky contacts. After a squirt of contact cleaner and some vigorous switching the problem seems to be solved!
