So today I got the "Octopussy" trailer from barry at Independent 8. excellent quality as his films always are. I look at the box and it was made by JEF Films in Mass. The next state over from me! Somehow it managed throught the years, to makes it's way accross the pond to the UK. Then it almost ended up right where it started from! The address was JEF Films, 143 Hickory Hill Circle, Osterville, Mass 02655 USA. Imagine that?
In case your wondering where the film is...I spliced in onto my 1200' reel of James Bond trailers which is in chronological order.

I have never seen a reel like that before. Nice idea to reduce excessive curl of the print. I have one trailer somewhere from JEF: "Singin' In The Rain". Excellent quality from a 35mm Technicolor print but it ends abruptly. Bought the same trailer by Derann and its awful! The color is faded and brownish. Don't know if it was the preprint material they used or bad lab work.

That's sounds a great reel Pasquale. I really like the Bond Trailers. Jeff Films did some great trailers and was high quality. Your print has done some travelling. I have many t of Jeff trailers here in UK and allways found them to be of high standard.
