With the soon to be released Blu-ray I thought it was time to screen the Super8 film again. I can "just" make it onto one reel and the old GS1200 did its thing. 1200ft capacity is about it for the GS however with Peter Pan, I push that tiny take up motor just a little bit more to take around 1400ft on home made reels.

It will be interesting to compare the film with the blu-ray, but if its like "Beauty and the Beast" the depth of colour and look with the Super8 print was much better.

I have this on Super 8. It is unbelievably sharp with beautiful color and steady image.

great super 8 color/Thanks for these shots of my favorite film when I was a child. Glorious movie houses coupled with this film made it even more magical.

Thanks Janice [Smile]

I made only a few reels with a small centre back in the 90s. The other film that stays on one such reel is "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer 1938"

Derann films really did some wonderful releases in particular the Disney Silly Symphonies.
