I have a couple of thousand feet of family S8 w/sound that I am trying to digitize and was able to borrow a Sears Sound 9259 projector. The audio on playback is quite "scratchy" and I suspect the head needs cleaning. Unfortunately, the owners manual for this projector is MIA. Does anyone know how to access and clean the recording/playback heads on this unit? Online search finds no info.
BTW, this unit looks very much like the Chinon 7000 series machines.
Thanks,
John
