One of my fun collecting activities involves finding the films that made the famous AFI 100 years list. There are some however that I'm pretty sure are unavailable.

Check out the list below. Titles I have in digest form are marked with an (*) while (!) means I know it exists- I just don't have it yet.

Trailer only is (#) and (?) means does this exist in any form on Super 8mm?

Any input would be welcome

Citizen Kane (?)
Casablanca (!) part on "A Man Called Bogart"
The Godfather (*)
Gone With the Wind (?)
Lawrence of Arabia (*)
The Wizard of Oz (*)
The Graduate (?)
On the Waterfront (*)
Schindler's List (?)
Singin' in the Rain (*)
It's A Wonderful Life (!)
Sunset Boulevard (?)
The Bridge on the River Kwai (*)
Some Like It Hot (!)
Star Wars (*)
All About Eve (?)
The African Queen (*)
Psycho (*)
The General (*)
Chinatown (*)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (?)
The Grapes of Wrath (?)
2001: A Space Odyssey (#)

Dr. Strangelove (?)
Bonnie and Clyde (?)
Apocalypse Now (?)
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (*)
Treasure of the Sierra Madre (?)
Annie Hall (?)
The Godfather Part II (!)
High Noon (!)
To Kill A Mockingbird (?)
It Happened One Night (*)
Midnight Cowboy (?)
The Best Years of Our Lives (?)
Double Indemnity (?)
Doctor Zhivago (*)
North by Northwest (*)
West Side Story (?)
Rear Window (?)

The Birth of A Nation (!)
A Streetcar Named Desire (?)
A Clockwork Orange (?)
Taxi Driver (*)
Jaws (*)

Hello Chad,as Dominique correctly states "Citizen Kane" is on S/8,
put out by Mountain,"GWTW", A Derann release, as was "Maltese
Falcon" in 2x400,"Bonnie & Clyde" hire only from Columbia Warner
but on 3x400 German release,"Dr Strangelove" from the USA,
"The Third Man" from Walton and also a US release.Hope this
helps.I think "Rebel Without A Cause" was a 3x400 German release.

'Shane' was released on super 8 as a full length feature by Derann.
Print is exceptionally good.

American in Paris was released as an almost full length feature by Derann, just a very slight abridgment.

Titanic was released as a full length feature by Derann.

Not really a fan of top 100 your favourite never seems to be there.

Regent Films were a Blackpool based company. I don't think they released any of their own, dealt with mainly imports.

REGENT FILMS-Blackpool were at one time an agent for Blackhawk amongst others and I bought many Blackhawk prints from them in the early 70's.
I still have a std 8mm "Great train robbery" with the colour scenes.

There was a company releasing films as "Regent" don't know if it was the same people.
