A lot of people selling Car Parts on Ebay use this method too. It's a bit odd when you first encounter it, but it works well enough.

In the real life, you go to cars junk yard and find the exact car you have, dissemble the parts you want, go to the counter, and pay....

Many people are really perfectionist only want the original parts and many parts are no longer made. So this kind of service is very useful.
