I couldn't get to it again this year, and I wondered what it was like, I do miss the annual pilgrimage to Lancashire, so any news would be welcome.

Hi barry, dave here in reply to question, blackpool was great
the new hotel, the four star Hilton was excellent the rooms and
food were the best ever. The Convention Dinner Hosted by Adrian
was again a great success with best meal at any past convention dinner,a good film quiz,,again won by Peter Wilson some very nice
prizes in the raffle and the evening rounded off with a film show
this for the first time in 16mm by Jim Cecil.
The convention on the Sunday was well attended and had a good number of dealers present the auction I think was better than last years. Some entertaining films in both super8 and 9.5 were
shown in a very comfortable cinema room.. the convention was an
improvement from last years, Every one I spoke to enjoyed it and
would return next year for the convention and the dinner.
I can tell you now that the 2014 dinner and convention will be
held again at this great new venue the Hilton Hotel.

I took many photos and if I can work out how to post them on the
forum (I,am new to computers) I will.
