Janice, would you happen to have a copy of the Sankyo 1000 service manual? If so maybe I could purchase a copy from you.
Thank you
Myron Baron

It's nice that you do that Janice. Sankyo manuals are notoriously hard to come by. I have the 2000H manual in PDF form if anyone ever needs one.

There are at least two versions of the manual. I know as I have two of these excellent machines which came with them. Early versions had a two pin plug-in power cord. The manual for this has green bands on the cover. Later versions came with an integral power lead and power switch. The manual for this has brown bands. The only difference in the texts is due to this. I find it hard to believe that these projectors are over 45 years old yet they don't look dated at all unlike my Eumigs.

Janice,

Manual received...much appreciated as will help my friend greatly who has a stack of Std & S8 films to preview & his ability to switch gauges by means of swapping sprockets & gates over is not the best.
This little baby with no sprockets will suit him fine although personally after spending years running 35mm plant I certainly PREFER sprockets.
The higher film speed of 35mm (90 feet per minute) demands the use of sprockets to ensure things stay were they should be.
Seems not a real problem on this little Sankyo though as it handles both gauges quite reliably.

Here are the covers for the two manuals I've had. Other than the cover color...they both are identical for the two-pin power socket.
