From what I can see from an eBay ad it looks like a 35mm cinema combined anamorphic lens. By this I mean a backing lens and anamorphic all-in-one. These were very common place in cinemas in the last days of 35mm.
If I am correct, it will be no good for you as you need an anamorphic lens which goes in front of your projector's lens.
It's price of (approx.) 79 GBP reflects my thoughts.

Garry, If you are after a scope lens l have a spare Rectimascope lens on eBay at the moment. If you are interested in it send me a message I'm asking $100 plus postage, this is a great lens for 16mm/super8.
