These Bolex cameras (B8,C8,D8) are legendary for their fabulous build quality, with superb finish all metal construction and real leather panels on the sides and the amazing Kern lenses. Truly the peak of amateur cine equipment. I have a C8, fitted with the Som Berthiot zoom lens. It is heavy of course, but it makes my plastic video camera look like a piece of junk in comparison! Even if you never run another roll of film though it, keep it as a display piece to amaze your friends. But I believe that you can still get Kodak black and white film for these cameras, and possibly Agfa color film as well.
