I was very often to find a bargain ad and succeded to follow it up, but today is not my lucky day.... [Big Grin]

That is from a free add website in Toronto, Canada where I used to live. I have contacted the owner since the first day of ad was on using the website contact seller's button.

I did not get any reply for several days, until I realized the free ad website server would block any emails coming from overseas to avoid spam.

I then contacted my sister in Canada to use her computer in making querry via the website. And we got the answer:

It has just been sold
[Razz]

A nice looking GS-1200 in an OB plus all the accessories for $75 is just like an everyone's dream .... [Big Grin]

I have bought a GS-1200 for $85 (What will you think if you see a GS1200 for $85?) in nice condition .....but this one would be my new record. [Wink]

I once bought another GS-1200 for $45 but that one is the ugliest GS1200 in the world I have ever seen. [Big Grin]

It was bought in my home country, Indonesia where is so humid and hot making all collectible items will be like that if they are not taken care off.

cheers,

Although I have been told it was sold, I still chased her should she had films (F/L) lying around. My dream was her reply as follows:

quote:
"Yes I have some tapes here, I don't know if they work with the projector but these bunch of reel to reel tape are not used. Every single reel is read either DERANN, Kempski or RED FOX. I believe they were the recording companies. Most of them are original soundtrack of films"
[Big Grin] [Big Grin]

quote:
....and you can have them for free.... [Cool] [Big Grin]
...suddenly my wife shake me...."WAKE UP!" [Razz]

I got three PMs asking for the link, so here it is: GS-1200 offered for $75 .

ps: It is a true story, I once found at Ebay selling reel to reel tapes which was actually films.

cheers,
