I have a 822 Sonomatic HQS, a very good projector, that, for years, has always given me satisfaction, but that I have bought it with the red rec button that during registration I have to hold down with my finger, because th "block" function not work.
The thing (the recording) can be done for a few minutes, not comfortable for longer, so now I want to see if I can fix it.
I don't know what be broken or missing, but I have compared the inside of my projector with photos online (thanks to Van Eck), it seems like nothing is missing...
I think that the problem is in the spring that I've been circled red, which does't contract.
Or do I have to work with the plastic circled in blue? But is not only for the "Sonomatic" function? I think so.
So, how does the lock mechanism work?
(the image is of an 824, but the mechanics of the point is identical).
