Hello!
Can someone explain the difference between negative and reversal
Which would be best suited for an amateur
I don’t want to project it I just want to have it digitised, so which would be the best for that!

Hi,
Reversal can be projected or digitized. Negative Super 8 film can only be digitized, but it leaves more room for error in exposure. If you want black and white, there is only reversal stock Kodak Tri-X and I recommend shooting on true B&W film as it looks more authentic than color negative converted to B&W in post.
If there is any chance you'd like to see the film projected one day, because there is nothing like the pure look of film, shoot on reversal.
