I had posted about a week ago that I couldn't find leader that would go smoothly through my Elmo's. Steve Orborne suggested the leader he sells, in various colors, and I picked up blue and black (thinking one color for head, one for tails). Steve shipped it right out and it indeed is what I was looking for. If you're in need, reach out to Reel Image!

Is the Leader from Reel Image Acetate or Polyester?

Joe - I looked on the invoice and it doesn't indicate, nor does the film itself. I'm afraid I must defer to Reel Image!

If you can tear a piece off with your fingers then its acetate. Polyester would have to be cut.

But to fit in the Elmo, it is not enough cut the edge with the trimmer built into the projector, and using any leader?
Of course, preferably of good quality.
