This is a two prong question ...

1. Does anybody know who was responsible for the "Viacom" releases?

Was it a "Viacom Super 8" company, or someone else?

2. How many "Viacom" releases were there?

I think the Elvis feature films were in large part, Viacom.

I once had a feature print of "The Geisha Boy", (Jerry Lewis), which was quite rare but from what I heard, not actually allowed by Lewis or didn't get permission for it, so that one might be a "Viacom bootleg" on super 8. [Smile]

My Select Film catalog of Sept. 1980 lists the seven Elvis films ("Girls, Girls, Girls" "Blue Hawaii," "Roustabout," "G.I.Blues," "Fun in Acapulco," "Paradise, Hawaiian Style," and "King Creole") and three Jerry Lewis features ("Visit to a Small Planet," "Don't Give Up the Ship," and "Sad Sack.") All ten films were Hal Wallis productions.

Osi,

Viacom 8mm releases I believe were handled by Ken Films, hence they had the 400' editions in there line up.

Nigel ...

I can send PM's but I can't receive them, (though I wouldn't mind figuring out how to empty my PM's to get more in), but in the meantime, my e-mail address to contact me personally, is ...

CXOSIR1@outlook.com

Best wishes Nigel ...
