Does anyone have a high quality jpg file of the WDHM 200FT box cover of The Band Concert that they can send me? Or is there a web site that has it?

You mean, like this?

Send me a PM and I can email you a much higher quality jpg if you can accept 12 MB attachments.

Unfortunately, my box is rather worn, some of which has been corrected via editing.

Thanks so much Bill. This is so superior to my own box cover which has become really scruffy and beaten up.
I have sent you a PM.

This is the later box design where WHDM issued several special collector series in their line all with similar design.

There is another artwork with full color picture as follows.

My print is from Derann so it is LPP without any fade.

My goodness, how do you like that.

Disney was so far ahead of everyone else for 1935; seriously, find ANY cartoon from any other studio, and compare it to this. Disney was simply brilliant.

This would be worth finding a low fade print of. Maybe someday I will.

Possibly the best Disney short ever. It never fails to entertain an audience.
My print still holds up well with acceptable color, although it has obviously faded from its original vivid color saturation. Did Derann ever re-release this title on LPP stock?

I seem to have been lucky on my print. i hasn't lost a spot of color. Still looks great. This was late in the releases for WDHM! I think that there weere only three cartoons in this "masterworks" series ...

Band Concert
The Old Mill
The Ugly Duckling

A funny note ...

I bought, way back in 1985, my copy of "The Old MIll". (It was in a bargain bin for 10.00 dollars!) It was a spanish version but thankfully, only the box art was spanish. There were no new "titles" in spanish, so I lucked out! [Smile]

$10! So NOT fair, Osi! But if I ever find a Spanish potential replacement, I'll know to take a second look.

I know that WDHM releases past 1982 would be LPP, but sadly it's just so hard to find them.

All later Derann prints were low-fade, but "Band Concert" should be worth $50-100 at this point if it's free of damage.
