Janice: Have ordered the 483 Manual for the B&H 483. Meantime, I cleaned and lubed all gears etc, and bought a replacement "belt" (O-ring)and Quartz Lamp Adapter etc from Tveden. Projector runs well, all functions - but still VERY noisy. Not sure that the "belt" is correct thickness/length - so problem may be slip in the (split) vee-pulley drive (the one which narrows and widens with Speed Control Lever)? Any thoughts. (Hoping that the Manual may define "belt" thickness and diameter but it may not . . . . ) Ironically, the B&H label says 483 is "extremely quiet"??
