Someone sending me films to scan, also revealed a cartridge of Kodak K40. Type A

All these years later it never got developed.
It is there any point in pursuing this to a stage where it could be seen again, or just dump it in the trash?

I am in the uk if that makes a difference.

I think it can still be B&W reversal processed, but no idea where now.

The Old Film Company offer such a process of b/w processing of old Kodachrome. They develop as a negative and, if successful, transfer to a DVD.
But, it's not cheap. [Mad]
