Okay guys.......gotta raise some money here....these are the last of my features to go out the door and I’m blowin them out! $50 per title unless otherwise listed. The more ya buy the more you save when it comes to shipping to the states. All prices in US buckaroos. And all films are mounted on Bonum reels with cannisters unless noted.

1. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1920) 2 X 800 John Barrymore version of this Blackhawk print with a fine music score. Print is near mint. SOLD!

2. Sherlock Holmes And The Voice Of Terror (1942) 2 X 800 Niles print of the first in a series of 12 films Rathbone did for Universal as Holmes. Print has a light line but otherwise is in very good condition and these films are in demand in Super 8. SOLD

3. Monster Maker (1944) PRC Horror with J Carroll Naish transforming Frank Morgan's brother Ralph into a psyeudo Rondo Hatton with Glenn Strange thrown in for good measure. Actually quite a nice little film. Light lines. 2 X 600

4. Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (1943) 2 X 800 Said to be one of the best in the series. Print is a very nice Niles release with great contrast. Pretty much stone dead mint. SOLD

5. Who Killed Doc Robbin. (1948) Hal Roach has one last stab at the Little Rascals style film with kids that are a bit more sassy then the original Our Gang. Old Dark House Mystery comedy with George Zucco as the bad guy, Nan Grey has the woman you can't keep your eyes off of, and the smart ass kids who keep getting themselves in and outta trouble. This one is in color and is full length and very tough to find. 2 X 600 SOLD

6. Pursuit to Algiers (1945) 2 X 600 Rathbone and Bruce aboard a ship escorting a Prince who is incogneto. Three Henchmen board the ship and terrorize Basil and Nigel. A very good twist at the end that will suprise you. SOLD

7. Terror By Night (1946) 2 X 600 Entire movie takes place on a passenger train. It's a bigtime who done it that still leaves you scratching your head at the end. Beautiful atmospheric film with some great Universal character actors including the slimy Skelton Knaggs. The female lead in this movie is really sexy! SOLD!!

8. Dressed to Kill (1946) 2 X 600 The final film where Rathbone plays Sherlock Holmes. A very interesting plot in which a jailbird helps some fellow cons with a counterfiet ring. Basil slaps the cuffs on them before the ink hits the printing press. Excellent to near mint print. SOLD

9. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1923) 3 X 800 The Lon Chaney Classic from Universal. This is the Blackhawk release with an amazing soundtrack that will blow you away! Print is STONE DEAD MINT!! $75 SOLD!!

10. The Death Kiss (1933) 2 X 800 Same cast as Dracula including Lugosi, David Manners and Edward Van Sloan. This is a murder mystery that takes place on a movie set. Great film that has many shots of how a film was made in the golden age of Hollywood. 5 minutes of the film is slightly out of sync. Near mint print and a tough one to find! SOLD

11. The Monster (1925) Lon Chaney Sr in this silent horror comedy. This one is 4 X 400 in STANDARD 8MM without a soundtrack. Nonetheless it is a toughie to find in this guage period. SOLD!!

12. Black Dragons (1942) 2 X 800 Bela plays yet another vengeful role where he plans on doing in a private mens club who betrayed him back in Japan. Neat little film with Bela at his creepy best. Nice print with some lines but very enjoyable. Very tough to find in this format. SOLD

13. Isle Of The Dead (1945) 1 X 600 A Val Lewton horror film that stars Karloff as a Military Captain blamed for a plague on an island. Little do the people know it's a vampire running amok! This is two Mountain film releases spliced together for a mini feature of this RKO film. Very good with light lines if any. $35

15. Oliver Twist. (1922) Lon Chaney plays Fagin so well, you’ll do a double take just to make sure it’s him behind the make up......he’s THAT good. Jackie Coogan is adorable and pulls at your heartstrings in this Dickens Classic. Blackhawk Print in near mint condition mounted on 2 X 800 foot reels. Amazing Blackhawk soundtrack on this one. SOLD!!

16. The Midnight Girl (1925) One of Bela Lugosi’s first American silent films. He falls in love with his son’s girlfriend played by Lila Lee (who was Lon Chaney’s love interest in the sound version of The Unholy Three) Purchased brand new and played probably 4 times. This was striped when I bought it but needs a soundtrack recorded on to it. Mounted on 2 X 800 foot reels. SOLD

17. Return of Chandu (1934) Lugosi plays a crime fighting magician. This is the feature length version of the 30's serial. Lugosi’s love interest is this drop dead gorgeous princess he’s forever trying to keep out of trouble. Light lines if any at all. 2 X 600.

18. Bluebeard (1944) Directed by Edgar Ulmer of The Black Cat fame. This stars John Carradine and the ever so beautiful Jean Parker (I could look at her all day long and never get tired!) Carradine seduces her, romances her and then tries to murder her. I can truthfully say that this print is pretty much stone dead mint. Mounted on 2 X 800 reels. SOLD!!

19. The Light Of Faith aka Light in the Dark (1922) Lon Chaney plays a thug living in a boarding house.......falls in love with the female resident who is very ill and during one of his break and enter jobs finds a religious artifact that cures all illnesses and saves the girl in the end. This is very very rare to find on film. Please note this is SILENT and in REGULAR 8MM format. It does have a couple of color tinted scenes which is an interesting added bonus. 1 X 600 SOLD

20. Bonum 800 foot reels and cans. I have plenty of them. Both mint unused and others gently used. Pick your poison. Take as many as you want or just a few. $10 each or 3 for $25 plus shipping.

Okay guys..........that's all for now......some more will follow. Email me at moreintheattic@cogeco.ca to reserve anything on this list. Again....money orders or registered cash only and all sales are in US funds only. I ship worldwide but please remember that it costs $80 to send a 2 X 800 feature and about $50 for a 2 X 600 foot feature overseas, Thanks so much for getting this far! D'Arcy

Darcy, thats a pretty steep shipping cost to the UK. I have never paid round the £40 mark for 2 x 800ft reels before. Have you got that right and by what means of shipping.
Our customs people would have a field day on the shipping alone [Frown]

Kev.

Keven I know it sounds outrageous but that's what it is. It's crazy for sure. check out www.canadapost.ca and you'll see for yourself Canada has one of the highest shipping rates in the world. It costs more for me to send a VHS video to B.C. than it does to send it to the tip of Key West Florida. I sent 2 features to a chap in the UK which were 4 X 800 bonums and the airmail shipping was $80 Canadian. I sent 2 X 600 to France and it was $55 Canadian. Oh and in regards to Customs.........I ALWAYS put a low low value on the label cuz Canada Customs also belong to the Money Grabbing Club of Customs Agents. Tore a strip off of them one time and cursed at the agent until she hung up on me. Amazing the nerve you can get with a couple of drinks in ya. [Big Grin]
