There is always the chance that a super 8 optical sound feature exists, but I seem to remember that some company released on super 8 the "Howard the Duck" movie trailer.

What about it, Doug?

I played this film at my theatre in the 80's, and was a total bomb. I think we pulled it after the second week.

I think this is just about the right era to have come out as a Jef film release (if anyone can remember their considerable trailer catalogue).

I vaguely remember Howard the Duck started as a Marvel comic, and not a very popular one at that, so when I heard it was being made into a film I wondered who the audience would be. As it turned out there wasn't much of an audience at all.

I actually have a soft spot for this film and would love to find a copy on any gauge....CMON- A guy in a duck suit from outer space that comes to Earth and becomes a rock star? ?? ? ? ? ?..

I tend to like the so bad they are good films, and this one really is so bad its good....I am surprised they haven't re-made it with a 3-D CGI Duck, and a soundtrack filled with Justin Bieber, and the Disney-type kid singers....
