I'm looking for two Super 8mm sound features 1938 "A Christmas Carol" MGM classic with Gene Lockhart & Reginald Owen. And Miracle on 34th Street with Edmond Gwen

Hi Roger, there is a copy on ebay now on 16mm with Sir Seymour Hicks.

That particular version doesn't turn up that often on 16mm.
Was it even released as a feature on 8mm?

I don't think it was, but I could be wrong. Perhaps it was a british release? That 1938 version certainly has it's charm and is a little darker in nature, which I like.
