Hi,

Has anyone bought anything from this site:
http://filmsonsuper8.com/

They say their movies are in mint condition. Pretty cool to have an Alien digest in perfect condition, but not so cool to pay $99 Australian dollar, open the box and find the film completly faded. Any thoughts?

I have brought from them, a bit over priced but if you want a NEW film I suppose it is ok, I would presume that the colour titles would have some fade to them even though they are new, the titles I brought where b/w.

Jan, for this particular title a non-fade (printed on AGFA) is available. So better to look for this as you are really particular for unfaded ones.

Here the screen shots:

Looking great!

I guess you have to open the box and look at the film to find out which stock been used, and that rules out buying a sealed copy for $99 from the very very hot country of Australia [Smile]

Hey Jan I bought from them a 3 part 400 reel Samson and Dellilah a few years back and it was new in wrap. It still had great color and was Okay. But that was Marketing Films with a non fade stock I guess? Some films new or not if the stock is bad it doesn't matter how hot the country is like Australia it will fade. I would think that they keep the films in a dry cool place to sell them.
