Yes, the first 3 Indiana Jones movies were released in cinemascope (German release).

The Temple Of Doom is not a CHC copy but it is a "Jörg Harnischmacher" print, like also the first Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of The Lost Ark!

I have the 1st & 3rd on super 8 while the print quality is good, but not up to the best, the sound is poor, a lot of wow & flutter on the soundtrack. One of these days I must try to re-record them.

After having re-recorded both the 1st and 2nd film have now excellent stereo sound!

I spent a lot of time to edit the original DVD source, in order to perfectly match it (at frame level) with the super 8, that is affected by many cuts on the source material in both films.

But at the end the result has been excellent!

You don´t sound snob. We all want the best prints, but the question is when that wanted print will be on sale, and what will be the price. I have my most wanted prints flat because I didn´t wanted to lost the chance (Batman, Back To The Future, Robocop...)
