New stuff in my german ebay shop:

Stan Laurel in "Collars and Cuffs" (8mm), two Chaplin shorts (one quite rare), Fred Astaire dancing on the ceiling, Roy Rogers commercials, Charley Chase (two shorts), Tom & Jerry, Flip the Frog - and more. And more coming in shortly.
The sound films are all in english!

Shipping one or two shorts to anywhere in the world is 3.45 Euro ($ 4.55; £ 3).
I usually ship on Fridays - from Germany.
Thanks for visiting!

A reminder that Switzerland is not in the EU.

Hmm, yes - is there a problem with not being in the EU? I hope I won't be banned from the forum for this [Wink]

If it is mentioned here because of shipping: I send all my films from Germany (which is just 'round the corner from where I live - and which definitely IS in the EU). They have far better shipping conditions than Switzerland, and the German post is much more reliable than the Swiss post!
Hope this helps...
Best,
Michael

Well done, Michael, for the answer.

If you had sent the film to the UK from Switzerland buyers may have had to pay UK value added tax at 20%, plus an £8 fee to the Royal Mail who handle the matter on behalf of the UK Customs.

However, as you are posting from Germany, no VAT (or handling fee) is payable.

@Maurice:
Oh my - that sounds about as horrible as it is in Switzerland! Curse customs!

You lucky bastards :-)

Only 8 GBP for that fee? We have about the double in Norway and add 25% to that in taxes too

Norway kinda sucks, but it keeps the films at a good temperature though

Vidar

Think of the bargains you will get at the October B.F.C. Convention, or will you have to declare them when you return home.
You are coming, aren't you?
