Hello Jean, are you able to test the two 400 footers as being new doesn't mean no colour fade?

Hello Tom,

If I test it, the films wouldn't be sealed anymore and not absolutely new!

Best regards

JC.

It's just a suggestion, Jean (and not a criticism), but you might do better selling them if you opened then, just to assure that the color has not faded on them, as many a person on this forum and elsewhere, have bought brand new and still sealed super 8 prints, only to find that, though sealed, they have lost thier color.

I'm sure that any collector on here would be much happier knowing for a fact that the color is just fine ...

I can can personally vouche for Jean's integrity. he is an outstanding fellow and an honest dealer in films. [Smile]

I respectfully disagree. An unopened film could be worth more to a collector than one that is opened. While its true that a film could have faded colors even when unopened but someone who really knows film and wants it to project will do their research to find out if some copies were faded or some were not and take their chances.
The buyer of this film will appreciate the fact that it is brand new and never has been played. In fact they may just keep it unopened.

Hello Chaps, please forgive me, i am not in any way or form trying to criticise, merely just observing that new and sealed can be faded. Nothing more.
Please be assured i am not in any way or form putting down this sale. [Wink]

Just to inform English native speakers : Jean-Christophe is a full name, like Jean-Marc or Jean-Luc. Jean exists also alone (like Jean Dujardin) but it is regarded as another name [Big Grin]
