Hi Gary stick to buying off soemone like Paul Foster or Barry from here and you will get better deals or on ebay suss out who is a proper decnt collector on ebay, don`t go by the picks go by a proper description, stock and condition etc.
I often get lower prices as I don`t put on pics but I give a right description as near as I can, funny really.
Best Mark.

Gary, honestly, are you serious with this post or just a mad of your recent purchase? since you also post in the other forum about your dissapointment of your 400" Star Wars which you paid £20 .

If that so, please use the "Instant Graemlins" (e-moticons)as I did above. So other members will understand.

However if you are serious with your sell then....

[Confused]

cheers,

It's too bad that there isn't some kind of thing ebayers can read ahead of time that will give them a good assessment as to how to bid, so as not to get ripped off.

But then, quite honestly, it is not the sellers fault if something gets rediculously bid up on.

AND WHERE WERE ALL THESE SUCKERS WHEN I HAD STUFF ON EBAY !!!!!

There is definately something wrong with Gary's last two posts. [Frown] This might be a situation for our moderators to look into. This is very easy going forum. Something is way out of line with this.

True Dan!,

If we look back at his recent posts:

First, he slammed Chip when Chip sells his projector here.

Then, Gary offers his over priced projector of Eumig 610D here only a day after!

Secondly, just recent days, he posted his dissapointment of his purchase of 400 feet Star Wars which he paid £20 for it here.

At the same day he offers that same item for £ 150 here!!!

I am not trying to be a judge here, there are two moderators to count it, plus Brad Miller, the owner of this Forum, who can trace if it his posts were originally sent from Nottingham, UK.

We leave it now to you guys!.

cheers,

Is it a case of "If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen"? [Eek!] If this post had been at the beginning of April, I would have thought, "April Fool"! [Confused]

P.S. Shouldn't this post have been in "Film Sale" and not "Equipment". This is all getting too much for me, where are my "little pink pills"? "Oh Nurse, help!!" [Confused] [Confused] [Confused]

Hi Gary, hope you don`t leave, film can be an up and down business but very rewarding if you stick with it as there are a lot of decent folk about and much ticketty tick fun to be had with a real projector.
Best wishes Mark.

Guys, look we have been here before . I think there is a real risk of bogus joiners to this forum now that the "S" forum has ended who will want to cause mischief. I may be wrong but this guy seems like one of them to me.

We will have to rely on the moderaters to keep them to a minimum.

either that, or this Gary really thought that professional super 8 collectors would be willing to spend 150.00 for a Star Wars extract that anyone could get for 30.00 or less.

There could be an answer to all of this ...

He was asking 150 for the 2X400 Star Wars. Those two, brand new during the heyday of super 8, would cost around 140.00 or so.

hold on a sec, if Gary's 400ft cutdown is worth £150.00, my 2 x 400ft cutdown on ebay tonight should fetch £300.00, here's hoping [Big Grin]
