I have a Sears Du-All 8 I was using to convert family film to digital but the bulb burnt out in the process. Considering the price of the replacement bulb I would be interested in accepting offers if anyone is interested. I would like to put some money together to get the wolverine converter.

The projector is in perfect working order clean and no damage, auto-feed works great. If you are willing to convert to an LED or halogen bulb it would make a great projector.

I would like some help to know a good market price I might put in on ebay.

Hi here are some videos and pictures of the unit. If anyone could help me price it I plan to put it up on craigslist. Let me know what the market might be for a working unit but the bulb is burnt out.

Unfortunately Scott with the bulb burned out in my opinion you'd be looking at $25-$30 for it on Craigs list (if you can sell it at all). The marjority of people don't want to spend $60 for a new bulb and don't know how to do the lamp conversion. I have the same projector, but I have done a lamp conversion on it to use a low-cost halogen bulb. Even with that upgrade I don't think I could get more than $50-$60 for it.

ah that's not unfortunate at all and very helpful. I just didn't want to overprice it and waste everyone's time. I think I will put it up on ebay for local pickup at about $20

I just had bad luck that the bulb burnt on my session but it actually motivated me to get the Wolverine conversion scanner which did a much better job capturing than filming with my cell phone on the Du-all

That sounds good Scott. I hope you can sell it. The Sears Du-All was actually made by Bell & Howell and is very rugged and well designed dual format projector. However due to it not being variable speed, it is not a good projector for telecine transfers.

Good luck with your sale.
