Late last year, I picked up a lovely boxed Sankyo Sound XL-600S which seems to be in working over save for one thing – the battery pack that should be located in the handle isn't. I don't suppose anybody knows either a good place to pick up a spare or of an alternative part. I think I might end up just having to purchase a second model for that one part!

Andrew..
Can you post a photo of the handle area? I may have a battery pack that will work.

Have you tried flea bay, plenty of battery pack holder on there for a couple of quid, surely you can adapt these to suit the camera..... https://www.ebay.com.my/itm/Sankyo-Sound-XL-600S-Super-8mm-Camera-Vintage-Film-Excellent-f-1-2-Macro-Zoom-6x/323250631581?hash=item4b433d339d:g:GXEAAOSwtaRa9KBA
