A Niles release. Super 8 sound. Made in 1944. Runs 7 minutes. A Popeye cartoon. Print is nice. Color is good. A Paramount picture. Storyline is Olive is in to superman as she reads a superman comic book. When Popeye and Bluto find out. They deside on being superman to impress olive! This one is very funny and good! And does not turn up too often! A good cartoon to all Popeye fans! If you see it grab it! Review by Leon Norris.

I always liked this super 8 cartoon, as it was only a year or so after the studio changed from the Max Flesicher studio to "Paramount/Famous" studios", and there was still a very Fleischer" look to the animation, which would largely be gone by the late 40's.
