Does anyone know what the thread size is on the Kowa Super Prominar 16 1.3/50 fitted to the Elf RM1 projector.
It's less than 49mm and greater than 46mm, but I don't have a 47 or 48mm threaded filter to test it with.
I'm going to have to get a stepping ring to fit an add on Bell & Howell Filmovara zoom lens. The Filmovara takes a Series VII adaptor. I just need to know the front thread size on the Kowa.
Thanks
Alan

I've found that it's bigger than 48mm and less than 49mm.
Must be an old imperial thread.
However, a 48mm to 52 mm stepping ring with some Araldite on the thread did the trick.
You can easily get 52mm stepping rings to screw into that.

Just in case someone else has this issue.
