Did you know that these projectors had too short a distance between picture aperture and magnetic sound heads? Bolex offered a replacement receptacle with the heads then allowing the prescribed 28 frames advance. Synchronism was with a 21 frames separation in the first place.

So if you happen to use one better check that point with a section of clear leader bearing marks 28 perfs apart.

On the other hand the S-311/321 belong to the finest machines in the 16-mm. format. They have a perfect film canal, straight line claw mechanics, an instant switch two- or three-blade shutter, and felt-oil lubrication.
