Found this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bell-Howell-16mm-film-projector-1695-speaker_W0QQitemZ170426723179QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Photography_VintagePhotography_VintagePhotoAccessories?hash=item27ae39 6b6b

Does this look to be easily fixable?

The price is o.k. - but the B&H machines have problems with their worm gear that can crack. Replacing it is a big pain in the neck.

If the worm gear needs to be replaced it need proper tools and someone who knows their stuff.Probably best walk away from it.HOWEVER,the sound drum guide rollers is a simple lubrication job as they sieze up.Add to that they can be easily squeezed back together so as they operate properly and give the correct tension round the sound drum when auto-lace up is completed.

Just ask the seller if the worm is in fact cracked. He or she can check it visually.
