If you had the opportunity to choose between ELMO 16-AL and ELMO 16-CL, which one will you prefer and why?

Antonis, I've been around Elmo 16mm projectors for quite a while. Both are great machines, very kind to film. It's more or less the same projector, only the loading system differs. The CL is a little bit more compact and, of course, a real dream to load and unload. The AL offers reverse projection (but do you really need it?).
Sales price on the AL should be slightly lower than the one of the CL.
I have a really good CL for sale, contact me off site... (jmtoussaint at claranet dot fr)

Άτσα Γιαννάκη...
Haaaaaaaaaa! Yanni I didn't knew that you already have an Elmo 16CL. The truth is that for a lover of documentaries like you, having a 16mm projector is "must". Now thanks to Jean Marc I have one too. CU in London.

JM,

quel dommage! Well, hope you'll console yourself with trying to find some film resources in NY-if you have time of course!
Antonh, does this mean I've now got a competitor for 16mm documentaries? I need to get to Ealing before you do [Big Grin]

Gian, have you set your mind on something ? I have another pristine 16CL (Deluxe version) in storage... Antonis can vouch for the condition of the material I'm selling.
Contact me off site. My email is jmtoussaint at claranet dot fr

Hello Jean-Marc,

what's the Deluxe version of 16-Cl? I'm curious...
I own a 16-Cl M+O and a 16-Cl Xenon, but never heard about the Deluxe version...Can you post a picture? [Smile]

The Deluxe version is based on the M+O machine, with electronic controls (and there's a manual release of the channel at the front of the projector) and a remote.
